Job summary

TAI in Newark, Delaware is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer for Capital Projects and Infrastructure to safeguard and optimize plant electrical systems. This hands‑on role drives reliability, safety, and uptime while leading cross‑functional teams on capital projects.

You will design and analyze power distribution, protective schemes, install and commission systems, mentor maintenance staff, and ensure NFPA 70/70E and NEC compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• PE license preferred or to be pursued.
• Experience with facility electrical infra and capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for facility electrical infrastructure and power distribution systems.
• Lead electrical reliability initiatives to improve asset performance and uptime.
• Perform electrical system studies and coordinate with project teams on upgrades and capital projects.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA 70, NFPA 70E, NEC, and OSHA requirements.
• Mentor maintenance and operations personnel on best practices.
