Job summary

Tata Consulting Engineers USA, LLC is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer for a 6+ month assignment to develop capital and expense projects and drive improvements in electrical systems across a heavy industrial setting in the United States. You will handle scope definition, design, budgeting, and vendor coordination, ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance.

The role requires 4–6+ years of experience, strong communication, and the ability to work within cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) required or equivalent.
• 4–6+ years of related project and plant experience.
• Demonstrated successful project management experience.
• Self-starter who can manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and ability to lead or participate on cross-functional teams.
• Understanding of regulatory and industrial codes.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical engineering for capital and expense projects including scope, cost estimates, design, equipment specification and startup.
• Design projects for safety, operability, and reliability.
• Develop and manage project budgets for capital and expense.
• Lead electrical reliability and plant performance improvements.
• Interact with production and maintenance to solve issues.
• Develop PM and PdM maintenance plans to improve reliability.
