Job summary

Orbia Fluor & Energy Materials is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design for high and medium voltage systems on a major capital project. You will oversee EPC execution, ensure compliance with standards, and provide expert guidance across engineering, procurement, construction, and pre-commissioning.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering and 7+ years of EPC design experience, with strong communication skills and willingness to travel domestically and globally.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering required.
• 7+ years of electrical engineering & design experience at EPC firm or owner’s facility.
• Capital projects experience involving heavy modularization.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Some domestic and global travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical engineering expertise at state-of-the-art levels in HV/MV systems and components to complete the capital program.
• Advise Engineering/Construction/PM on deviations and non-conformance resolutions.
• Ensure quality, integrity, and performance of electrical designs, installations, and pre-commissioning.
• Act as primary electrical design expert for project teams and EPC firms.
• Ensure contractor performance within the electrical discipline and adherence to standards.
