Job summary

Fluor Corporation seeks an Electrical Engineering Lead for gas-fired combined-cycle and simple-cycle power projects. You will helm electrical design, studies, and coordination across teams to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective solutions.

This role requires managing scope from development to commissioning, with strong HV/MV distribution and NEC knowledge. Ideal candidates have a PE license, a four-year engineering degree, and proven leadership in multi-discipline EPC projects.

Qualifications

Accredited four-year degree in engineering; PE license may be required or preferred.
Ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders (management, clients, vendors, contractors).
Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, NEC, and industry standards.

Responsibilities

Lead electrical engineering scope from design through procurement, construction support, and startup.
Coordinate electrical activities across disciplines, offices, vendors, and construction teams.
Develop and review electrical specifications, design criteria, and health/safety/environmental factors in design.
Perform ETAP-based studies: load flow, short-circuit, coordination, transient analyses; ensure regulatory compliance.
Mentor junior engineers and support project execution through planning and execution phases.
