Job summary

Gresham Smith is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the Building Engineering Team in Orlando. You will lead electrical design for healthcare projects, coordinate with clients, and ensure codes and standards are applied effectively.

Responsibilities include scoping, budgeting, and scheduling tasks, producing drawings in REVIT, ETAP, and VISUAL lighting, and traveling to site meetings for progress inspections and AHJ coordination.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering with a P.E. license.
• 8+ years of electrical design experience, healthcare focus.
• Strong knowledge of NEC/NFPA and building codes.
• Proficient with REVIT, ETAP and VISUAL lighting software.
• Excellent client-facing and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Determine scope, budget, and schedule; assign tasks and monitor progress.
• Plan and conduct electrical engineering work; prepare reports and specs.
• Produce drawings using REVIT; review designs for conformance.
• Lead design reviews and coordinate with clients and authorities.
• Collaborate to solve complex engineering problems and code applications.
• Travel to job sites for construction administration and reviews.
