Syska Hennessy Group seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our healthcare-focused team in Tampa or Jacksonville, FL. You will lead design efforts for inpatient and outpatient projects within a large national healthcare group, collaborating with engineers and other disciplines on complex facilities.

The role requires a PE license, 8–15 years in a Florida consulting setting, and hands-on CAD/REVIT proficiency. Strong project leadership and coordination skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering from an Accredited Institution.
• 8–15 years' experience in a Florida consulting firm in the MEP engineering industry.
• Healthcare design experience for inpatient and outpatient projects is a plus.
• Hands-on design with CAD/REVIT; strong technical role; PE required.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Firm with clients, contractors, architects, and project team members.
• Create basic designs under supervision to develop specifications, narratives, and layouts.
• Establish design standards, specifications, and criteria for projects.
• Coordinate with other trades and consultants; monitor correspondence with stakeholders.
• Supervise reports, RFIs, bulletins, and addenda; participate in evaluations.
• Mentor staff and assist in training within the business unit.
