Job summary

Client Growth Resources seeks an Electrical Engineer to lead design and construction administration of electrical systems for building projects in Salem, VA. The role requires a licensed PE in Electrical with Virginia licensure and 7+ years of experience.

The engineer will design power, lighting, and data systems, serve as the electrical authority on projects, supervise junior staff, and coordinate with architecture, structural, and MEP teams. Relocation and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Licensed PE (Electrical). Virginia licensure required, and comity from another state is fine
• 7+ years designing building power, lighting, and data systems
• Experience sealing drawings
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• AutoCAD and Revit MEP preferred

Responsibilities

• Design power, lighting, and data systems and produce specifications
• Serve as the licensed electrical authority on building projects
• Mentor junior staff and grow the discipline
• Conduct site visits and coordinate with architecture, structural, mechanical, and plumbing
• Provide construction administration support
