Job summary

Stantec is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Denver office. The ideal candidate will design electrical systems across high voltage, power distribution, energy storage, lighting, and fire alarm projects, coordinating with cross-disciplinary teams on diverse building and industrial projects.

You will lead design work, perform load calculations, develop system applications, size equipment, and maintain project documentation while mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• 5+ years of experience in building design.
• Registered Professional Engineer preferred; knowledge of codes and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Produce designs that meet engineering requirements.
• Prepare and adhere to budgeted hours for projects.
• Perform load calculations and equipment sizing.
• Coordinate designs with architecture and other engineering disciplines.
• Mentor staff and supervise junior engineers on projects.
