Job summary

Stantec is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Denver office. The ideal candidate is a technically strong, self-driven engineer who can support and lead portions of multiple design projects, coordinate with cross-disciplinary teams, and contribute high-quality technical solutions across building and industrial systems.

This role is well-suited for someone ready to take on greater responsibility in project execution, design leadership, and client coordination within a collaborative team

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• 5+ years of experience in building design.
• Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and adhere to budgeted hours for project.
• Perform or oversee load calculations.
• Develop system applications; equipment sizing and calculations.
• Coordinate designs with architecture and other engineering disciplines.
• Maintain project files and calculations; ensure design quality and completeness.
• Participate in client meetings regarding engineering systems.
