Job summary

MOHR Talent in Saint Martin, Mississippi is looking for an Electrical Engineer to design and document building electrical systems for municipal, educational, commercial, and industrial projects. Candidates should have a 4+ year design background, a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, and proficiency with AutoCAD; Revit MEP is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of electrical design experience preferred.
• Experience with commercial, municipal, educational, or industrial building projects.
• Familiarity with NEC and local codes; PE licensure pursued encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical power distribution systems and one-line diagrams.
• Lay out power, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems for buildings.
• Develop panel schedules and perform short-circuit studies.
• Coordinate with architects and other engineers throughout design and construction.
• Review submittals and assist with fire alarm system design.
• Prepare electrical specifications and scopes of work.
