Job summary

Mohr Talent in Ocean Springs, Mississippi is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to personally design and draft electrical systems for building projects.

You will own the technical work from concept through construction, using AutoCAD and Revit to produce drawings and coordinate with architecture and MEP teams. Relocation support is available for the right candidate; salary range is $90,000–$110,000+ DOE with bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
Experience in building electrical design, not plant maintenance.
Hands-on in AutoCAD and/or Revit.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-moving consulting environment.

Responsibilities

Create electrical plans, one-line diagrams, schedules, details, and specifications.
Design power, lighting, fire alarm, communications, security, and other building electrical systems.
Perform branch circuiting, lighting calculations, and electrical-system studies.
Evaluate existing facilities through field investigations and site visits.
Coordinate design requirements with architectural, mechanical, and structural teams.
Support submittal review, construction administration, and project delivery.
