Job summary

Mohr Talent in Biloxi, Mississippi is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join its MEP team. This hands-on design role focuses on developing electrical drawings and construction documents for K-12 educational, municipal, and commercial building projects, using AutoCAD and Revit.

You will coordinate with architects and other disciplines, perform lighting calculations, panel schedules, and short-circuit studies, and aim for PE licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Approximately 4+ years of electrical design experience.
• Hands-on experience producing electrical drawings in AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and building/electrical codes.
• Experience with power distribution, lighting, panel schedules, one-lines, and construction documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical drawings and construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Design building electrical systems (power, lighting, fire alarm, low‑voltage).
• Develop one-line diagrams and distribution layouts.
• Prepare detailed panel schedules and electrical specifications.
• Coordinate with architects and other engineering disciplines.
