Job summary

Seneca Resources is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in Boise, ID to lead electrical design for facility power, grounding, lighting, and low‑voltage systems. Relocation assistance is available as you coordinate with owners, contractors, and designers on complex projects in industrial settings.

You will guide teams, provide technical leadership, perform quality reviews, and develop construction documents, with NEC expertise and PE licensure as core requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Electrical or Renewable Energy Engineering from an accredited university
• Current Professional Engineer (PE) licensure with the ability to obtain in the State of Idaho
• At least 12 years of experience in engineering design of building electrical systems
• Strong working knowledge of NEC (NFPA 70), voltage drop, arc flash, short‑circuit, and load flow calculations

Senior Electrical Engineer

Location: Boise, Idaho (Relocation assistance available)

Pay Rate: $75.00/hr - $85.00/hr

We’re seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Boise, ID, where you’ll lead impactful projects across semiconductor cleanrooms, laboratories, and other state-of-the-art industrial environments. In this role, you’ll guide designers, provide technical leadership, deliver quality reviews, and tackle some of the most complex engineering challenges in the industry. You’ll work directly with clients, owners, and contractors in a fast‑paced, highly collaborative setting to develop requirements and produce high-quality construction documents.

If you have 10+ years of experience, strong NEC expertise, PE licensure, and a passion for solving complex engineering challenges, we’d love to meet you.

What you’ll do:

• Ability to perform site punch walks and work effectively within construction environments

Ideally, you’ll also have:

• Semiconductor and/or mission‑critical/data center design experience.
• Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and thrive in a dynamic environment.
• Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills, with a passion for continuous learning.
