Job summary

Red 6 Aerospace, Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to help design next-gen real-time hardware for an airborne AR system.

You will tackle power architectures, FPGA and high-speed bus interfaces, and embedded computer subsystems while ensuring reliability and performance in a flight environment. You will guide hardware through the full lifecycle—from requirements to prototype, qualification testing, manufacturing, and flight.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
• 5+ years in aerospace/defense electrical systems.
• Experience with complex airborne or mission-critical systems.
• End-to-end hardware development from requirements to flight.

Responsibilities

• Support creation of next-gen real-time hardware for airborne AR system.
• Design electrical architectures including power, FPGA, high-speed buses.
• Develop and test to meet performance, quality, and reliability requirements.
• Oversee hardware from requirements through qualification and manufacturing.
