Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to support the design, development, testing, and validation of advanced electronic hardware for highly regulated products. This position offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated electronic systems throughout the complete product lifecycle—from concept and circuit design through prototype development, testing, qualification, manufacturing, and production support.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on electrical engineer with strong analog and digital hardware design experience who enjoys solving complex technical challenges while working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Candidates with experience in aerospace, avionics, defense, automotive electronics, industrial electronics, transportation systems, medical devices, or other regulated industries are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop analog, digital, and mixed-signal electronic circuits and subsystems.
- Develop electronic hardware from concept through production release.
- Design, analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize power conversion and regulated power circuitry.
- Participate in schematic capture, PCB layout reviews, component selection, and hardware integration.
- Perform circuit analysis, debugging, failure analysis, and root cause investigations.
- Support prototype bring-up, hardware validation, qualification testing, and reliability improvements.
- Optimize electronic hardware for efficiency, thermal performance, manufacturability, and long-term reliability.
- Support EMI/EMC evaluation, troubleshooting, and design improvements.Collaborate with systems, software, manufacturing, quality, and test engineering teams throughout product development.
- Prepare engineering documentation including design reports, test procedures, and technical documentation.
- Participate in product verification, validation, and regulatory compliance activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
- 7+ years of professional electrical or electronics hardware design experience.
- Strong background in analog and digital circuit design.
- Experience developing, debugging, and troubleshooting electronic hardware.
- Experience with schematic capture, PCB design, and board bring-up.
- Strong understanding of electronic component selection and circuit analysis.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing analog power electronics including:
- Switching power supplies (SMPS)
- Current-regulated circuitry
- Feedback control loops
- PWM-based power control
- Experience optimizing electronic hardware for efficiency, thermal performance, and reliability.
- Experience supporting EMI/EMC design and qualification testing.
- Experience with hardware validation, environmental qualification, and product verification.
- Experience within aerospace, avionics, defense, automotive electronics, transportation, industrial controls, medical devices, or other regulated product development environments.
- Familiarity with embedded hardware systems and hardware/software integration.
- Knowledge of industry standards such as DO-160, DO-178C, DO-254, MIL-STD, IEC, ISO, or similar regulatory requirements.
- Experience working in cross-functional product development environments.
