Job summary

RTX is seeking a motivated Senior Electrical Engineer for the Metrology & Test Equipment Maintenance (MTEM) team in Andover, MA. The role focuses on root-cause fault isolation and repair across RF, digital, and power platforms to maintain test station uptime.

The position requires a DoD Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship, with a 3rd shift including a 12% shift premium. You will diagnose, repair, document, and implement improvements on complex test equipment on a fast-paced manufacturing floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• 3+ years of test equipment design or troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance (U.S. citizen).

Responsibilities

• Perform system-level debugging on test fixtures and automated test stations.
• Trace hardware faults to component level across RF, digital, and power platforms.
• Ensure test station uptime on the manufacturing floor.
• Maintain fault logs and repair documentation to reduce future downtime.
• Work with minimal supervision and coach technicians on troubleshooting.
• Interpret schematics to aid troubleshooting of test stations.
• Design moderate improvements to enhance performance and uptime.
