Job summary

LaBella Associates is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with a strong focus on Building Projects to join our Potsdam or Canton, NY offices. You will work with mechanical, civil, structural engineers and project architects to develop concepts, designs, drawings, specifications and reports, and lead electrical efforts across all project phases.

The ideal candidate has at least 10 years of experience in an A/E consulting environment, a Bachelor's degree, and NYS PE license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience at an A/E consulting firm.
• New York State Professional Engineer's license is preferred.
• AutoCAD and Revit experience is a plus.
• Experience in electrical distribution systems, power, lighting and utilities, and in communications, security, and fire alarm systems is desired.

Responsibilities

• Interact closely with mechanical, civil, structural engineers and project architects.
• Lead electrical engineer for multi-discipline projects through all phases (proposal, design, bidding and construction).
• Perform code reviews.

This position will work closely with engineering staff to develop concepts, strategies, designs, drawings, specifications and reports. Individual must be able to work independently, as well as part of multi-discipline teams producing electrical engineering documents.

Job Duties

• Perform code reviews.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000 per year

The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.

• A Bachelor's degree is required.
