LaBella Associates is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for our Potsdam or Canton, NY offices. You will work with mechanical, civil, structural engineers and project architects to develop concepts, designs, drawings and reports.

The role involves independent work and collaboration within multi-discipline teams on electrical engineering documents. The position emphasizes lead responsibility across project phases, with opportunities for growth, client interaction, and building condition

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience at an A/E consulting firm is required.
• New York State Professional Engineer's license is preferred.
• AutoCAD and Revit experience is a plus.
• Experience in electrical distribution, power, lighting, utilities, and communications, security, and fire alarm systems is desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineer for multi-discipline projects through all phases (proposal, design, bidding, construction).
• Perform code reviews.
• Delegate and monitor project tasks to junior team members.
• Meet with external and internal clients.
• Perform building condition assessment reports.

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with a strong focus and background in Building Projects to work in our Potsdam or Canton, NY Offices. This position will work closely with engineering staff to develop concepts, strategies, designs, drawings, specifications and reports. Individual must be able to work independently, as well as part of multi-discipline teams producing electrical engineering documents.

Job Duties

• Interact closely with mechanical, civil, structural engineers and project architects
• Function as lead electrical engineer for multi-discipline projects, through all phases (proposal, design, bidding and construction).
• Perform code reviews.
• Delegate and monitor project tasks to junior team members.
• Meeting with external and internal clients.
• Performing building condition assessment reports.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000 per year

The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
