Job summary

nVent is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to lead complex electrical build and system integration projects. You will serve as the primary technical interface for customers, coordinate multi-disciplinary requirements, and ensure compliance with electrical codes and standards.

With 5+ years in electrical build roles, you will guide teams, craft BOMs, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with vendors and Production to deliver successful implementations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • 5+ years in electrical build, system integration, or related roles.
  • Experience leading complex electrical projects independently.
  • Strong knowledge of medium- and low-voltage power systems and integration principles.
  • Familiarity with electrical codes and standards.
  • Experience crafting and managing electrical BOMs.
  • Strong communication with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Proficiency with Bluebeam, ERP systems, and MS Office.

  • Work cross-functionally to manage scope and align goals.
  • Mentor early-career engineers to foster collaboration and inclusion.

You have
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical build, system integration, or related roles.
  • Proven experience leading complex electrical projects independently.
  • Solid knowledge of medium- and low-voltage power systems and integration principles.
  • Familiarity with relevant electrical codes and standards.
  • Experience crafting and managing electrical BOMs.
  • Strong communication abilities for engaging with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Proficiency with Bluebeam, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (preferred).
  • A collaborative approach with the ability to influence through technical expertise.
