Job summary

Lumira Search is partnering with an innovative spacecraft startup to find a Spacecraft Electrical Engineer in Los Angeles. This hands-on role involves the development and integration of advanced spacecraft electrical systems, requiring strong experience in PCB design and debugging.

The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with various engineering teams and support spacecraft integration and testing campaigns. You will have the opportunity to work on high-impact programs and broad engineering ownership.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of electrical engineering experience in aerospace or spacecraft systems.
• Strong PCB design and debugging experience.
• Proficiency with Altium, KiCad, Eagle, or similar tools.
• Experience using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.

Responsibilities

• Support spacecraft electrical interface design and integration.
• Design and develop avionics subsystems and flatsat environments.
• Develop and execute electrical integration procedures.
• Assist with electrical support equipment development and testing.
• Perform PCB debugging and hardware troubleshooting.

We are partnering with an innovative spacecraft startup seeking a Spacecraft Electrical Engineer to support the development, integration, and testing of advanced spacecraft electrical systems.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys working directly with flight hardware in a fast‑paced development environment.

Responsibilities

• Support spacecraft electrical interface design and integration.
• Design and develop avionics subsystems and flatsat environments.
• Develop and execute electrical integration procedures.
• Assist with electrical support equipment development and testing.
• Perform PCB debugging and hardware troubleshooting.
• Collaborate closely with compute, power, and avionics teams.
• Support spacecraft integration and environmental testing campaigns.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of electrical engineering experience in aerospace or spacecraft systems.
• Strong PCB design and debugging experience.
• Proficiency with Altium, KiCad, Eagle, or similar tools.
• Experience using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and soldering/rework tools.
• Familiarity with NASA GEVS standards.
• Hands‑on spacecraft hardware experience strongly preferred.
