Job summary

Sora Resource Group is seeking a mid-level Electrical Engineer for projects spanning labs, schools, universities, and commercial buildings. The role involves designing power, lighting, and fire alarm systems from early design through construction, with a hybrid work schedule based in Cambridge, MA or nearby offices.

The candidate will produce construction documents, perform calculations, and coordinate with architects and other engineers, utilities, and contractors on project teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering.
• 5+ years of building electrical design experience.
• PE preferred, not required.
• Knowledge of building and electrical codes.
• Experience with Revit.

About our client

Our client is an employee-owned architecture and engineering firm. Their architects, interior designers, civil engineers, and building systems engineers work in the same firm and on the same project teams. Their work covers higher education, K-12, life sciences, technology, government, and workplace projects. They are adding a mid-level electrical engineer to their engineering group.

The role

The Electrical Engineer handles the electrical design on labs, schools and universities, and commercial and institutional buildings, from early design through construction.

The position can be based in the firm's Cambridge, MA, Providence, RI, or Manchester, NH office, with a hybrid schedule.
