Qualifications

Job description

An innovative technology company is seeking an experienced Ph.D. level Electrical Engineer to lead and contribute to advanced R&D programs focused on high-voltage electrical and power systems. This role will provide deep technical and scientific expertise, lead research initiatives, develop novel electrical technologies, and collaborate across engineering and research teams to translate fundamental research into practical, high-performance systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience conducting research at a national laboratory or other advanced R&D organization.
  • Experience with high-voltage power equipment, electrical insulation, power conversion, grid systems, or related technologies.
  • Strong publication record, patents, or other demonstrated contributions to electrical engineering research.
  • Experience with electrical simulation, modeling, data analysis, and experimental testing.
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary research environments and translating fundamental research into deployable engineering solutions.
