Andersen James Group partners with a major US organization to staff a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design on technically complex projects across Mission Critical/Data Centers, Advanced Manufacturing, Life Sciences, Healthcare and Lab environments.

Join a developing practice where engineers collaborate with design, construction and prefabrication teams to influence project delivery, standards and technical outcomes.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of Electrical Engineering experience.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• Experience with electrical systems for complex building/facility projects.
• Strong coordination and communication across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience with Mission Critical/Data Centers, Advanced Manufacturing, Life Sciences, Healthcare or Laboratory projects is valuable.

Responsabilidades

• Lead development of electrical designs, drawings, specifications and calculations across multiple project phases.
• Develop and evaluate electrical systems in line with codes, standards and project requirements.
• Coordinate with engineers and designers to deliver integrated, constructible solutions.
• Review electrical deliverables for technical quality and alignment with project scope.
• Support projects through construction, including submittal reviews, RFIs and site visits.
• Utilize CAD/BIM tools to develop and review electrical designs and models.
• Support project leadership with scope, cost and technical risk considerations.
• Contribute to technical standards and mentoring of less-experienced team members.

We're partnering with a major US organization that is continuing to expand its integrated architecture and engineering capability, delivering complex projects across Mission Critical/Data Centers, Advanced Manufacturing, Life Sciences, Healthcare and Laboratory environments.

They are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the growing engineering team and take ownership of electrical design across technically complex projects.

This is an opportunity to join a developing practice where engineers work closely with design, construction and prefabrication teams, with the ability to influence how projects are designed and ultimately built.

What you'll be doing

• Lead the development of electrical designs, drawings, specifications and calculations across multiple project phases.
• Develop and evaluate electrical systems in line with applicable codes, standards and project requirements.
• Coordinate with engineers, designers and wider project teams to deliver integrated, constructible solutions.
• Review electrical deliverables for technical quality, coordination and alignment with project scope.
• Support projects through construction, including submittal reviews, RFIs and site visits.
• Utilize CAD/BIM tools to develop and review electrical designs and models.
• Support project leadership with scope, cost and technical risk considerations.
• Contribute to technical standards, process improvements and the development of less-experienced team members.

What we're looking for

• 6+ years of Electrical Engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent relevant experience.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license - required.
• Strong experience designing electrical systems for complex building/facility projects.
• Working knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards and industry practices.
• Experience taking projects through multiple stages of design and into construction.
• Strong multidisciplinary coordination and communication skills.
• Experience with Mission Critical/Data Centers, Advanced Manufacturing/Semiconductor, Life Sciences, Healthcare or Laboratory projects would be particularly valuable.
• Ground-up project experience preferred.
• NCEES record preferred.
