Boeing in St. Louis is seeking a Senior Electrical Component/Assembly Engineer for a contract assignment to cover the full production cycle of our program.

You will drive obsolescence forecasting, component qualification, and selection of alternate parts for both new development and legacy programs. Responsibilities include leading DMSMS meetings, coordinating with suppliers and DoD/Industry customers, and applying EHS/LEAN/Quality principles across materials, processes, and labs.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering.
• 5+ years in Obsolescence Management / DMSMS / Component Engineering.
• Experience managing Bills of Materials (BOMs) and researching Alternate components.

Responsabilités

• Apply engineering knowledge of electrical/electronic components for assembly and subassembly design.
• Support subcontractors and suppliers to ensure component qualification per contract and Parts Management Plan.
• Recommend new/alternate electrical components for new product development and legacy programs.
• Represent Boeing at Electrical and Electronic Component National Committees.
• Use PM tools to meet cost, schedule and performance requirements.
• Incorporate EHS, LEAN and Quality into materials, processes, labs and offices.
