Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline with 5+ years' experience in the design of power distribution facilities.
• Associate degree in electrical/electronic technology with 7+ years' experience in the design of distribution facilities.
• High school diploma with 9+ years' experience in the design of distribution facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and technical services direction to establish a high performing engineering design team.
• Maintain close involvement with employees and listen to ideas, needs and recommendations.
• Ensure customer-focused attitude by conveying customer expectations and achieving satisfaction.
• Monitor design, material and work progress to control costs and ensure codes, standards and schedules are met.
• Coordinate with other departments to maintain accurate maps of the distribution system.
• Develop employee skills and knowledge.
• Promote and assure standard compliance.
