Job summary

Middough Inc. is seeking an Electrical Designer (REVIT) to create and establish straightforward designs aligned with codes, standards, and client requirements. You will guide drafters and ensure adherence to company practices across projects.

The role involves generating drawings, managing project docs, and potentially leading single-discipline projects, with client interaction and cross-department collaboration to obtain necessary information.

Qualifications

• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit design.
• Associate degree in a technical discipline or related experience.
• 5–7 years of drafting experience.
• Working knowledge of National Electric Codes and reference documents.
• Knowledge of power distribution (480V–12kV), lighting, grounding, motor controls, and heat tracing.

Responsibilities

• Generate design and detail drawings including plans/sections and isometrics to support Discipline Leads.
• Manage and maintain Project Documentation (flat files, reference files, CAD drawings).
• Possibly serve as Project Lead or Discipline Lead to estimate hours, develop scope, check drawings, and attend meetings.
• Interact with Clients to convey design and identify scope changes.
• Collaborate with other departments and suppliers to obtain necessary information.
