Job summary

Brown and Caldwell, a leading environmental engineering firm, is seeking a Senior Electrical Designer in the Boise area to support municipal, industrial, and federal water/wastewater projects. The successful candidate will work directly with electrical engineers and designers on 2D and 3D electrical and/or I&C designs for facilities serving water and wastewater clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years electrical design or related experience.
• Associate degree in electrical engineering technology or related field.
• 3D/BIM design experience with REVIT.
• Field data gathering for electrical design development.
• Strong drafting standards knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Execute tasks related to electrical drawing development.
• Perform cable tray and conduit design.
• Assist with the layout of electrical equipment.
• Carry out lighting, devices, and circuit design.
• Develop competence in using Revit / AutoCAD.
• Engage in cross discipline model coordination.
• Understand the level of detail at design gates/milestones.
• Manage schedules related to electrical equipment and panels.
• Flexible to take on additional assignments.
