Job summary
Tetra Tech in Arvada, CO is seeking an Electrical Design Lead to support E&I projects under supervision, contributing to construction drawings and deliverables while advancing technical expertise.
The role requires 8+ years of electrical design experience, Oil & Gas exposure, and advanced AutoCAD skills. Travel to client sites is expected; office presence is required for the first 6 months, with potential hybrid/remote options thereafter.
Qualifications
- 8+ years’ electrical design experience.
- Oil and Gas experience.
- Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD 2022 or newer.
- Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD 3D.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experienced with Bluebeam Revu.
- Experience with Autodesk Navisworks Freedom.
- Experience with Microsoft Teams.
Responsibilities
- Electrical Design Lead for projects with multiple subordinate designers.
- Generate issued for construction deliverables such as One-Line Diagrams, Schematics, Wiring Diagrams, Lighting Plans & Details, J-box Design, BOM & Wiring Diagram, Cable sizing.
- Perform technical reviews of electrical equipment bids.
- Maintain schedules and report on work progress.
- Mentoring of less experienced electrical designers.
- Travel to Client offices and production facilities.
