Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Mid to Senior Electrical Engineer for our Englewood, CO, Casper, WY, and Billings, MT offices. The role provides electrical design support for pipeline and station projects nationwide, with opportunities to lead multi-disciplinary teams and train junior staff.

The candidate should have 5–10 years in Electrical or Power Engineering, preferably in Oil & Gas, with a BE/EIT/P.E. preferred and experience with ETAP, AutoCAD, Revit, and NFPA 70. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• 5-10 years of Electrical or Power Engineering experience, oil and gas preferred.
• P.E. preferred.
• Proficient with cable and conduit schedules, ETAP, power equipment sizing; NFPA 70 knowledge.
• Must have construction support, site commissioning, and start-up experience.
• Substation design experience a plus.
• Experience specifying and procuring electrical equipment.
• Ability to mentor junior staff and communicate with peers, contractors, and clients.
• Strong troubleshooting skills required.
• Self-starter able to manage solo and group projects, detail-oriented.

Responsibilities
