Job summary

Jobot in Florida is seeking a Senior Electrical Designer/Engineer to develop electrical layouts, drawings, schematics, isometrics, and supporting documentation for complex construction projects. You will serve as a technical lead across bidding, design, permitting, and construction, coordinating with clients, contractors, and inspectors to ensure code-compliant, cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

Knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes.
Familiarity with IBC, IECC, and construction safety requirements.
Experience with electrical design calculations and constructability.

Responsibilities

Develop electrical layouts, drawings, schematics, isometrics, and supporting documentation.
Coordinate designs to meet codes, constructability, client expectations, and budgets.
Act as technical lead across bidding, design, permitting, and construction.
Provide direction to project teams and coordinate with clients, contractors, and inspectors.
Perform electrical calculations including loads, voltage drop, short circuit, and lighting photometrics.
