Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant industrial experience in electrical and instrumentation drafting and design.
• Familiar with specifications and installation details of construction bulk materials and equipment.
• Knowledge of company engineering design and CAD drafting standards.

Responsibilities

• Familiarity with design and drafting standards.
• Producing electrical installation documents.
• Recognizing and communicating design changes.

Skills

Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC)

Ability to perform lighting level calculations

Ability to size wire, conduit, and overcurrent protection

Proficient in 2D AutoCAD and Microstation

Good communication skills

Education

Associate degree in Engineering Technology or Computer-Aided Drafting
