EXP is seeking a Senior Electrical Designer/Engineer to join the Federal and Government MEP Team. You will design for Federal building projects, lead design staff, and ensure compliance with NEC/UFC and applicable codes while collaborating with project managers.

Office locations include Orlando, FL; Milwaukee, WI; or Raleigh, NC. Travel to sites is required as needed, with opportunities to mentor staff and develop project standards within a collaborative, employee-owned environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in Federal/government building design.
• Engineering degree in Architectural or Electrical engineering (BS).
• Strong NEC/UFC knowledge and applicable codes.
• Proficient in Revit MEP.
• PE license preferred but not required.
• Willingness to travel to sites as needed.

Responsabilités

• Lead design staff and QC own and team work (drawings, submittals).
• Collaborate with project manager to meet deliverables, budget, and schedule.
• Develop and present electrical design studies and reports to clients.
• Lead meetings with contractors during bid phase and review design details.
• Evaluate contractor pricing and cost estimates; ensure design quality at a responsible charge level.
• Contribute to BASIS OF DESIGN narratives and project standards.
