Job summary

UDR Consulting, INC seeks an Electrical Senior Designer in Greenville, SC to provide essential technical design work and leadership in a multi‑discipline environment. You will prepare and check intermediate‑complexity designs, coordinate with disciplines, vendors and clients, and ensure work aligns with project quality plans, scope, cost and schedule baselines.

The role requires an associate degree with 10+ years of experience, strong knowledge of codes and standards, and proficiency in 3D

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required
• Associate degree in related technical field and minimum ten (10) years of work‑related experience
• Working knowledge of applicable federal, state and local codes and standards
• Ability to communicate effectively with project management, coworkers, clients, vendors, and subcontractors
• Job‑related technical knowledge to complete the job
• Knowledge of discipline codes and standards
• Ability to comply with local, state and federal codes, statutes and guidelines
• Detail‑oriented with time‑conscious work habits
• Proficient in word processing, e‑mail, spreadsheet and presentation tools
• Experience providing EPC services on industrial projects
• Proficiency with 3D modeling and 2D CADD in a multi‑discipline environment

Responsibilities

• Prepare and check designs using 3D modeling and 2D CADD tools
• Coordinate technical issues with other disciplines, PM, vendors and clients
• Comply with Project Quality Plan and project procedures
• Adhere to project scope, cost and schedule baselines
• Perform material take‑off analysis and tabulations
• Support procurement, subcontracting and vendor submittals
• Support construction administration including RFI responses and field changes
• Other duties as assigned
