Job summary

McKim & Creed is seeking an Electrical Engineering Designer for our BEI Group at the new Raleigh headquarters. You will deliver electrical design/construction drawings for power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and telecom systems as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

You should have 5+ years in AutoCAD/Revit design, a ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering degree, and strong technical and communication skills. EIT is a plus; hospital design experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Electrical Engineering required.
• 5+ years of AutoCAD and/or Autodesk Revit design experience.
• Good technical and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and design services for power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and telecommunication systems as part of a multi-disciplinary project team.
• Complete design tasks within budget and on schedule in collaboration with the Project Manager and senior engineers.
