Job summary

McKim & Creed, Inc. invites an Electrical Engineering Designer to support power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and telecom systems in our Wilmington BEI Group office.

You will generate electrical design and construction drawings as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a dynamic, client-facing environment. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of AutoCAD and/or Revit experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program, and strong technical and

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 5+ years of AutoCAD and/or Autodesk Revit design.
• Good technical and communication skills.
• Methodical and precise, adaptable to schedule changes.
• Able to work alone or in a project team.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean record.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and design services for power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and telecommunication systems to produce electrical designs and construction drawings.
• Complete design tasks within budget and on schedule in collaboration with the Project Manager, Sr. Electrical Engineer and design team.
