McKim & Creed, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join the Building, Energy and Infrastructure Group in our Raleigh, NC headquarters.

The role focuses on leading electrical design and producing REVIT and AutoCAD drawings for healthcare, higher education, government and industrial facilities. The candidate will act as the Engineer of Record, manage coordination with the project team, and ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited) or Architectural Engineering with an electrical focus.
• Minimum of 4 years of documented applicable experience working on facilities similar to those described.
• Registered Professional Engineer in the State of NC with current NCEES.
• Process-oriented with strong organization, technical and communication skills.
• Solid communicator able to take directives from PM and Senior Electrical Engineer and coordinate with the design team.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, NEC.
• Experience with Autodesk REVIT; AutoCAD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design efforts and produce design/construction drawings.
• Act as Engineer of Record for work performed and for supervised staff.
• Serve as Client interface for project electrical matters.
• Evaluate electrical equipment/systems, lighting, and specialty building systems.
• Stays current with design standards and regulations.
