Job summary

Bechtel is seeking an experienced electrical design professional to plan, develop, and review electrical engineering design work for complex projects. You will coordinate with clients, review drawings and bid summaries, and ensure compliance with codes and standards.

Qualifications

Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience [OR] 12-14 years in lieu of a degree.
Proficient with NEC, NEMA/ANSI/IEEE standards and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

Leads or administers work of electrical designers and drafters for a business line technology, including layouts and construction drawings.
Supports, coaches, and trains less experienced designers.
Develops designs for complete electrical systems such as electrical rooms, cable tray, conduit, duct bank, and lighting.
