Job summary

Bechtel Global Corporation in Houston, TX seeks an Electrical Engineer to conduct field investigations and interviews to determine work scope and cost estimates for electrical systems. You will lead design, development, and evaluation of electrical components to meet complex project requirements.

Responsibilities include applying NEC/IEEE standards, performing system studies, and producing detailed diagrams and schedules for medium and low voltage systems. PE license preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or international equivalent.
• Extensive knowledge of NEC, ANSI/IEEE standards.
• Strong communication and collaboration across disciplines.
• Experience with electrical design tools and system studies.
• Ability to design and size electrical systems and protection.

Responsibilities

• Apply NEC and industry standards to electrical designs.
• Lead design, development, and evaluation of electrical components.
• Perform system studies: load flow, voltage drop, short circuit, motor starting.
• Produce single-line diagrams, schematics, MCC and panel schedules.
• Work with ETAP, SKM, MicroStation, SP3D, Revit, AutoCAD 2D/3D.
