Randstad USA seeks a Senior Electrical Design Engineer in the Agoura Hills, CA area to lead a team of design engineers in developing, prototyping, and testing digital instrumentation. You will collaborate across mechanical, software, and manufacturing engineering to deliver state-of-the-art test and measurement instruments.

The role requires 7+ years in hardware engineering with leadership experience, strong circuit design and signal integrity expertise, and hands-on experience with high-speed

Competenze

• 7+ years of hands-on hardware engineering experience in digital instrumentation.
• 3+ years in a leadership role guiding a hardware team.
• Strong understanding of electrical principles, circuit design, and signal integrity.
• Experience with test and measurement tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters).
• Familiarity with standards and quality assurance in hardware development.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Mansioni

• Mentor hardware engineers, set clear performance expectations, provide architectural guidance, and drive career development through regular reviews.
• Drive schematic design, component selection, PCB/PCBA layout, and testing for digital instrumentation while maintaining high quality and manufacturability standards.
• Lead hardware initiatives from concept to production, partner cross-functionally (firmware, software, mechanical), and communicate status and risk mitigations to executive leadership.
• Implement best practices to optimize design and manufacturing workflows, integrate emerging hardware technologies, and ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
