Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Technology, or related discipline.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 7 years of relevant experience.
• Equivalent directly related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required depending on project needs, workload, and business demands.

Responsibilities

• Develop basic to highly complex electrical master plans, power systems, protection and generation models, facility power systems, sustainability and renewable energy systems, and similar electrical systems.
• Perform power system studies and electrical calculations, including lighting simulations and layouts, communications, fire alarm, security, and related facility system analyses.
• Conduct site reviews and technical studies to confirm existing conditions and ensure designs align with site-specific requirements.
• Contribute to the firm’s Technical Knowledge Management (TKM) program by developing white papers, technical design documentation, and case studies.
• Prepare and submit technical papers and designs for publication in industry journals.
• Collaborate with sales staff to develop proposals and review draft proposals for alignment with standards and regulatory requirements.
• Meet with current and prospective clients to understand design needs and develop technical solutions.
• Attend conferences and industry events to strengthen technical expertise.
• Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to junior staff.
• Review and supervise the project work of junior engineers.
• Perform other duties as required.
