Job summary

We recently partnered with an industry leader in the equipment manufacturing industry seeking an innovative and detail-oriented Electrical Design Engineer to join their engineering team. You will bridge the gap between concept and production, designing electrical systems, developing PCB schematics, and optimizing for manufacturability from prototype to full-scale manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical design, preferably in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Proficiency with CAD software: AutoCAD Electrical, Altium Designer, OrCAD, or SolidWorks Electrical.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical schematics, control systems, wiring harnesses, and PCB layouts.
• DFM: optimize electrical designs for production efficiency, cost, and high yields.
• Prototype, test, and troubleshoot electrical prototypes; develop test fixtures and analyze performance data.
• Create and maintain BOMs, assembly drawings, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with mechanical and manufacturing engineers to integrate electrical components into broader product designs.
• Evaluate component obsolescence, root-cause failure analysis, and drive continuous quality improvements.
