Job summary

Det-Tronics (Detector Electronics, LLC) in Minneapolis seeks an experienced senior hardware leader to drive strategy, architecture, and lifecycle management for sensing and communication products.

You will provide technical leadership across development and sustaining programs, directing requirements, circuit and PCB design, testing, validation, and change control to ensure reliability and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• 10+ years of professional hardware development experience.
• 6+ years developing mixed-signal PCBA designs.
• Experience with MCUs and hardware lifecycle launches using a structured process.
• Advanced degree preferred; additional expertise in analog/FPGA, EMC, embedded systems, regulated products, and FMEAs.

Responsibilities

• Lead hardware strategy, architecture, and lifecycle management for sensing and communication products.
• Provide technical leadership across development and sustaining projects: requirements, circuit/PCB design, testing, validation.
• Oversee change control, risk mitigation, quality investigations, and project planning.
