The role emphasizes end‑to‑end electrical design, requirements development, and cross‑functional collaboration with customers and vendors.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in electrical power system design, documentation with cables/schematics, and the ability to work across software and hardware

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field; 10+ years of experience in electrical systems hardware design and integration.
• Familiarity with cable diagrams and schematics.
• Strong customer and team communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work with both software and hardware.
• Multitasking across parallel projects.

Responsibilities

• Develops requirements for electrical power systems for military products.
• Performs analysis, design, development, integration and test of electrical power systems.
• Participates in trade studies and capability analyses.
• Tests and evaluates electrical systems with a team of engineers.
• Develops test fixtures and prototypes for diagnosing components.
• Creates and maintains cable diagrams and schematics.
• Collaborates with cross‑functional teams to ensure successful integration of hardware.
• Provides technical support to other teams; interacts with customers and vendors.
