gpac is seeking an innovative Electrical Design Engineer to bridge concept and production. You will design electrical systems, develop PCB schematics and layouts, and optimize designs for manufacturability, from prototype to full-scale manufacturing.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical components, build testing fixtures, and analyze performance data while creating and maintaining BOMs and technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical design, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD Electrical, Altium Designer, OrCAD, or SolidWorks Electrical).
• Strong understanding of DFM, PCB fabrication, and testing methodologies.
• Ability to perform simulations, FMEA, and thorough failure analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving and multi-project management skills.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop electrical schematics, control systems, wiring harnesses, and PCB layouts.
• Optimize electrical designs for manufacturability and production efficiency.
• Build, test, and troubleshoot electrical prototypes; develop test fixtures and analyze performance data.
• Create and maintain BOMs, assembly drawings, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with mechanical and manufacturing engineers to integrate electrical components.
• Support legacy and new product lines through obsolescence evaluation and QA improvements.
• Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and regulatory requirements.
