Job summary

Accounting Search is seeking a Design Engineer to design, develop, and optimize electrical components for robust performance in manufacturing settings. You will create detailed designs, develop prototypes, conduct testing, and troubleshoot to improve efficiency, durability, and cost-effectiveness.

Collaboration with manufacturing, QA, and supply chain is essential to meet standards and environmental requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 1-6years of experience in design engineering.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
• Proficiency in CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed designs for electrical components.
• Develop prototypes and conduct testing to validate designs, troubleshoot issues, and improve performance metrics such as efficiency, torque, and durability.
• Work closely with manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to ensure designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, meet industry standards, and ensure product specifications meet or exceed expectations.
• Prepare technical documentation.
• Identify opportunities to enhance designs for improved efficiency, reduced weight, and lower production costs.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards and environmental regulations.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously.
