Job summary

Gigantes Group in Indian Head, MD is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer/Designer to lead electrical design, perform technical reviews, and manage facility upgrade projects from concept through delivery at a premier defense site. The ideal candidate has 6+ years in electrical engineering (4+ in power systems), an active PE or progressing toward licensure, and expertise with NFPA 70/NEC, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• PE license active or in progress.
• 6+ years in electrical engineering with 4+ years in power systems design for facilities.
• Proficient with NFPA 70 / NEC; hands-on with AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• US citizenship and DoD Secret Clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design and prepare design packages for facility upgrades.
• Conduct technical reviews for UFC/NEC compliance and end-user requirements.
• Act as Project Manager or Design Manager on initiatives, driving delivery.
• Prepare basis-of-design documents and technical reports for proposals.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders for execution.
