Job description

Join to apply for the Senior Electrical Design Engineer role at GPD Optoelectronics Corp.

This full-time, exempt position reports to the Engineering Management and is located full-time at our Salem, NH facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed electrical analysis and design for low noise photodiode embedded systems.
• Design, develop, and test analog and digital hardware circuits.
• Capture schematics, simulate, and oversee PCB layout.
• Report design results through reviews, adhering to quality standards, and address action items.
• Collaborate effectively with customers, project teams, and management.

Skills & Abilities

• Motivated self-starter with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Expertise in low noise electrical systems design and testing.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team.

Education, Requirements, and Experience

• Minimum MSEE with significant electrical design and project experience.
• 7+ years of experience in low noise and mixed-signal electronics.
• Experience with miniature opto-electronic packaging and chip-scale designs.
• Strong knowledge of signal analysis and circuit building blocks such as TIAs, OP Amps, filters, ADCs, DACs, etc.
• Ability to understand packaging design constraints for custom solutions.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Up to 10% travel may be required.
• Support and improve GPD policies.
