Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Electrical Controls Technician IV for our facility operations & maintenance team in Waukesha, WI. The role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, programming (CNC and PLC), and servicing facility and production equipment with strong emphasis on safety and reliability.

You will work with multiple control systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider, Wonderware, GE Historian) and collaborate with technicians and vendors to resolve complex issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3 years of experience performing electrical and mechanical machine tool service and repair in a heavy industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses, troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs facility and production systems and equipment.
• Programs, modifies and interfaces with various HMI devices.
• Builds and troubleshoots PLC logic and SCADA interfaces.
• Coordinate with Machine tool SCADA and develop HMIs using historian data.
• Ensure safety compliance and perform routine maintenance.
