Job summary

Regal Rexnord in the United States seeks a skilled maintenance technician to keep plant machinery and tools in top condition. You will lead installations, troubleshoot complex equipment, and perform preventive maintenance with attention to safety and accuracy.

The role requires reading drawings, using precision instruments, and coordinating parts with foremen. This is a fully onsite position offering stable hours and opportunities for hands-on problem solving.

Qualifications

• Shop trade knowledge/background is a minimum.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings/specifications.
• Read and record measurements with precision instruments.
• Perform basic shop math as part of tasks.
• Demonstrated ability to perform required maintenance functions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain plant machinery and tools; oversee installation of new equipment.
• Diagnose causes of equipment trouble and plan repairs; order parts as needed.
• Disassemble and repair large machine tools; replace worn components and adjust mechanisms.
• Operate maintenance-type machines (band saws, drill presses, grinders, lathes).
• Assist with installation, setup, anchoring, and leveling of machinery; assist with structural components.
• Complete preventive maintenance paperwork accurately and timely.
