Job summary

Collins Pine Company in Lakeview, OR (also Chester, CA) seeks an Electrical Controls Engineer responsible for design, configuration, and integration of plant electrical systems across manufacturing facilities. You will support capital projects, maintenance, and shutdown activities to keep production safe and efficient.

The role requires licensure in Oregon or equivalent, 3+ years of manufacturing experience, 480V and up to 13.8kV exposure, and proficiency with Allen-Bradley/Direct Logic PLCs,

Qualifications

• Oregon electrical license or P.E. is required.
• Minimum of 3 years in a manufacturing plant or similar.
• Experience with 480V systems; up to 13.8kV is preferred.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley/Direct Logic PLCs and Wonderware HMI is required.
• Willingness to travel and work weekends/holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Designs, installs, troubleshoots, and oversees electrical or mechanical control systems.
• Support capital projects, maintenance, and shutdown activities to protect production.
• Create and maintain electrical/process drawings and budgets.
• Coordinate with operations and contractors for project execution.
• Provide training to electrical crews to improve practices and processes.
